Alexander was born in Praga in 1879[1]. He was the son of Franz de Fin and Anna Krützner.
In 1900, he was sentenced to a month in jail and a 200 crowns fine after a brawl with a coworker in Pilsen [2]. In 1902 he emigrated to SouthAfrica [3]. He is listed as the modern equivalent of a mechanical engineer.
In 1903 he married Marie Boura in East London, East Cape, SouthAfrica.[4]
In 1924 he married Elisabeth Kuit[5].
He passed away in 1960, in Southafrica[6][7].
